Thirty years ago is really when the legend all began. Hank and Jim signed on WFAT-AM as Hal Hall and Larry McRae for the first time on New Year’s Eve 1977 and the rest (as they say) is history. WFAT went on to become one of the most well-known US land-based pirates in radio history, and this is how is all began!

To mark the 30th anniversary, we’re happy to present almost the entire show as it originally aired. Part One takes us from sign-on to halfway through the program with only the tape’s original edits missing.
